Fordland Clinic was formed in 1996.
The mission of Fordland Clinic is to improve the health of our wider rural community and serve as the independent non-profit provider of choice by offering comprehensive medical, dental and mental health care, prevention and wellness services to all area residents without regard to insurance or income.
Wellness for Webster County Scholarship Fund
Recruiting good health professionals (from nurses to physicians) to Webster County poses challenges. John Q. Hammons via his foundation:

John Q. Hammons gave a $100 Bill to each organization participating in the 2006 Price Cutter Charity Golf Championship. With this $100 bill, he also issued a challenge to each organization "to Make the Biggest Difference!"
The $100 Bill that Fordland Clinic received was used to start our Webster County Scholarship Fund! Fordland Clinic matched that $100 bill and Seymour Bank also matched that $100 bill to start our Scholarship Fund!
After long deliberation, the board of Fordland Clinic chose to create a scholarship fund for graduates of Seymour, Rogersville or Fordland Schools who intend to enter any of the health professions and have a desire to return to Webster County. This fund will be turned over to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks to administer, after the balance in the fund has reached $8,000.00. The earning from this fund will constitute the scholarship amount that year. Until a balance of $8,000.00 is reached, the Seymour bank will host the account and Fordland Clinic (who has an independent audit each year) is asking for one member to be designated by each Chamber of Commerce, will administer the fund.
