FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FORDLAND ~ In an effort to better connect with our community, Fordland Clinic will host an Open Forum every 4th Tuesday of the month.   This month, on Tuesday, March 25, our clinic will welcome anyone who would like to tour the facility, ask questions, or give input to the clinic's programs.

The Fordland Clinic was formed in 1996.  Our mission is to improve the health of our wider rural community and serve as the independent non-profit provider of choice by offering comprehensive medical, dental and mental health care, and prevention and wellness services to all area residents without regard to insurance or income.

The newly hired Community Health Educator, Becki Knobloch, will be on hand at the Open House to share her vision for community outreach and wellness activities.  She especially would like your input on new community groups she should contact in order to promote Fordland Clinic and its new health and wellness activities.
Becki most recently was the Wellness Director at Ozarks Family YMCA for two years.  Though her main office was in Mountain Grove, she served YMCAs in Cabool, Willow Springs, Mountain Grove, and Seymour.  Her work at Seymour gave her the opportunity to become acquainted with the surrounding community.

The Knoblochs moved to south central Missouri from Oregon.  They came here when her pastor-husband was chosen to be the pastor of four local Seventh-day Adventist Churches.  John and Becki have two daughters.  Natasha is in college near Collegedale, Tennessee.  Karissa is in high school at Ozark Academy in northwestern Arkansas.

Trained as a Health Educator, with a Masters degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University, Becki has worked for Indian Health, Public Health, for hospitals, and community organizations.  She enjoys working with people and appreciates opportunities to get acquainted with local residents.

Come and meet her at Ford Clinic's Open Forum on Tuesday, March 25 at 5 pm, 1059 Barton Drive in Fordland.
