FORDLAND ~ Coming Soon from Fordland Clinic ~ WEIGHT-A-MINUTE, an 8-week series to support your weight management efforts! Starting the first week in April, Becki Knobloch, new community Health Educator at Fordland Clinic, will be initiating three Weight-A-Minute classes. Fordland Clinic will host one series, starting on Friday, April 4 at 1pm. Rogersville has its own early evening series with an early April date and location to be announced. Seymour's series will be held at Ozarks Family YMCA starting on Wednesday, April 2 at 1 pm. If a participant had to miss the class in their town, they could attend another session in another town.

The components of this series always include a funny story (sometimes more than one!), topical discussions, group support, handouts, and a light meal. Will include an optional 30-minute exercise session.

A low introductory offer of $40 covers all costs, including a light meal, for the 8 week series. The title of the program, “Weight-A-Minute” was coined by the instructor to convey the idea that this is a support group for busy people. With the meal and the optional exercise, total time will be 1 1/2 hours.

In reality, there are many, many good and healthy foods which nourish and strengthen the body. Those mentioned above can be eaten, but moderately!
