Specialty Physicians and TeleHealth
TeleHealth services in partnership with the University of Missouri and the Missouri TeleHealth Network are under development. We expect to be operational by July 1, 2008 at the latest.
The first services offered will be Dermatology and Psychiatry.
Additional services will be added over time, and University Radiologists will be able to provide rapid official Radiology reading of our X-rays as soon as grant funds are located that will pay for the needed equipment.
Eventually all of the following direct patient care services will be available. The patient will sit in Fordland Clinic and see, hear, talk with and the specialist will be able to do the same in addition to receiving any needed clinical information from the patient from being able to listen to their heart to see their X-rays.
