Well Child Exams ~ Physicals
Will your child need a school or sports physical this fall ?
Is your child due for a well child physical?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a well child visit at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 months of age plus at ages 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 years of age, then each year from 10 to 21 years of age.  We strongly recommend that everyone by age 18 have a fasting cholesterol panel and Cardiac C-Reactive Protein lab test done (see Healthy Heart sections).

Medicaid will pay for all of these visits until age 18.

If your insurance will pay for well child visits (you must check with
your insurance company or human resources person before your visit) we are always happy to file your insurance for you.

If your insurance will not pay for a well child exam, you are still
meeting your deductible (check, some insurance plans exempt well child visits from having to meet your deductible) or you do not have
insurance we suggest a sports physical.  We offer a comprehensive sports physical that includes almost all of the components of a well child exam (but not lab tests) for a discounted price of only $20.
