Robert G. Marsh, FNP

Born and raised in Florida, Robert moved to Missouri in 1976 and except for a year of active duty in the Coast Guard, 6 months in Nevada on an engineering job in a gold mill and time for additional education has been ‘Home’ ever since.  He graduated with a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida in 1995 and was certified in both Family Practice and Gerontology in 1996.  He received his RN in 1984 and practiced in community, university and inner city Emergency Departments.

He has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Occupational Health in Springfield, Branson and Fordland.

Robert strongly believes the old adage that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and try’s to incorporate at least one preventative item with every office visit.  He believes that the only way to determine the ‘best’ answer for a patient is to understand what the patient’s desires and expectations are.  He believes that no one modality has all the answers and for the best results you need to take the best of traditional medicine, alternative and complementary medicine, herbs, chiropractic, nutrition and every other field that can impact health to put together a ‘best’ plan for any one patient.

Robert loves the farm raising beef and lamb in a natural rotational grazing system.  His favorite farm publication is the Stockman Grass Farmer. (click here for their home page and a free copy) On many Sunday afternoons he can be found at the Duck’s Stadium playing at Autocross in his Formula Solo Vee, see the Ozark Mountain Region of the Sports Car Club of America for the schedule.  Ozark Mountain Region website

He is available to see patients by appointment on most Mondays, Fridays and every other Saturday.  He strongly encourages new patients and patients with complex problems to schedule for Monday or Friday (if possible) so that he is able to spend more time with you.  If he does not have the answer he will find it for you.  If you are interested in alternative medicine please visit our Wellness Page.
